AlphaSense Model & Feature Comparison

by Compuquest, Inc.

AlphaSense models with network support are available in several configurations to fulfill all applications. The AFN Express is perfect for cost-sensitive applications where a limited set of simple AFN modem dialout and network message delivery features are needed.

AFN-100 is the base platform for all other configurations, and additional features are selected by choosing a Feature Package which is added to the base unit - no need to purchase features that are not relevant to your needs. All AFN-100 models support powerful Regular Expression (Regex) data scanning which operates on all input data sources. This extends simple content text matching to include many additional capabilities - here are just a few examples of the kind of things that AlphaSense models with Regex can do:

* match on any data where the word "zone" is present, and the message starts with "Room"
* match on any data where both "Fire" and "responded" are present, but not "escalate"
* match on any data that does NOT contain the phrase "has been resolved"
* match on any data containing "Hospital Room 2\.." (this would match 200, 225, 287, 291, etc.)
* match on any data where the last three words in the text string are "has been cleared"
* match on any data where the first word is "Backup" (to send all these to IT person...)
* provide for multiple match criteria within the same ruleset

Below is a table showing the differences of each AlphaSense model and Feature Packages. Further product features and installation information may be found on the main AlphaSense product page.
